Taxpayers who choose Direct Deposit will receive their refunds in about 11 working days from the acknowledgement date compared to 3-5 weeks for mailed paper returns.
Direct Deposit is available for both Electronic and On-Line filing. It is faster, safer and easier to track should any questions arise. New for this year - deposits of over $2000 will be permitted.
Direct Deposit is not only more reliable; it also costs less, saving taxpayer dollars.
